Lion's Lair is a tiny, old?school dive bar and live music lounge on East Colfax known for punk, garage rock, alt?country, and weekly music and comedy open mics. First opened as the Playboy Club in the 1930s and later the Aladdin Club, it reopened in the early 1990s as Lion’s Lair and is considered one of Denver’s oldest independent music venues. Set along the Colfax corridor, it’s an intimate, gritty room that’s walkable to other bars and late?night spots.
