We are delighted to welcome back to the Nocturne stage acclaimed pianist and bandleader David Mesquitic. David's excpetional quintet featuring Tatiana Ladymay Mayfield (voice), Wil Swindler (sax), Jase Conley (bass), Bobby Weins (drums) seamlessly blends hard bop, blues, swing, and Latin influences as they explore David's universe of compositional possibilities . Expect to hear a moving and captivating blend of original works, fresh arrangements, and classic jazz quintet repertoire from the last century.

Award winning pianist David Mesquitic is a composer and educator committed to the intergenerational transfer of the knowledge, history, and traditions of jazz. Mesquitic currently teaches at Colorado State University (CSU) and the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). Mesquitic holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin where he was awarded the 2022 Eleanor Alexander Stripling Award for Excellence in Jazz Studies. Mesquitic’s artistry has also been recognized as a receipt of the 2024 United States Air Force Band Diversity Fellowship.

First Seating Set: 6:30pm-7:45pm

Second Seating Set: 9:00-10:30

Main level and mezzanine tables are reserved for Dinner and a Show Reservations and include our seasonal three course menu and the cost of music

Reserved Bar Seats are $29 per guest and include music. Bar seat guests can order from our entire dinner menu as well as our wine & craft cocktail list.

The 'Ellington Experience' is the ultimate night out at Nocturne, featuring a five course tasting menu with wine pairings, served at just two tables per set in our favorite nook of the main level under the curve of the grand art deco staircase.

Important Notes:

- We set aside four to six walk-in bar seats per set. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $29 per person applied to their check.
