The remaining gates are service only or require credentials and do not sell admission tickets. Grounds RulesThe Colorado State Fair’s security program includes walk-through weapon detectors at all entry gates. Bags, purses, and packages will be subject to search at each of the State Fair’s entrances. Prohibited items include: Weapons including but not limited to: knives, objects that appear to be weapons, pepper spray, mace, tasers, or other self-defense itemsFireworks or other explosive and flammable objectsOutside food and drink or any illegal substance (water is allowed)Drones or any remote-controlled toysBikes, skateboards, skates, hoverboards, electric scooters not for mobility assistancePets with the exception of service animals or those competing at the fairService animals allowedFace coverings intended to conceal wearer’s identityReligious and health reasons permittedSmoking of any sort is prohibited in buildings per state law. Smoking includes e-cigarettes/vapes, joints, cigarettes, pipes, cigars etc. Please note, consumption of cannabis in public is illegal. Other items may be refused at the discretion of State Fair management or law enforcement.
