About
The Holdup is the musical project of Michael Garmany. Coming from San Jose, CA, he has built a cult following writing and producing his own brand of groovy, melody driven, pop music, borrowing influences from R&B, reggae, and hip-hop. Often mistaken for a group, The Holdup has been a one-man labor in the studio, with Garmany writing, producing, performing and engineering everything you hear on his albums. His catchy hooks and unapologetic lyrics have helped him sell out mainstay venues, such as The Roxy & El Rey Theatre, across the U.S. as well as clock in over 150+ million worldwide streams and counting...
Cydeways
Cydeways is an Alternative band out of Santa Barbara, CA. Fronted by Dustin Parks, Cydeways also features Casey Kernohan, Kevin Harvey, Trevor Buckingham (producer/engineer) & Dana Shoults (co-producer). The group initially formed in Boston, MA. before Parks moved the project out west to California.
The group eventually caught the attention of Law Records and in speaking with Law’s Yesod Williams, he shares how Cydeways wound up on his radar, telling The Pier: “I was podcasting Joe D. from Iration and he mentioned Cydeways to me. He’s friends with Dustin. After a little time, Hawaiian time that is, I finally reached out to Dustin. He sent me a track he had coincidentally done featuring another mutual friend in the Rhymesayers artists, Grieves, serendipity? I’d say so!”
Dylan Reese
Dylan Reese is originally from Chicopee, MA. From a young age, he was determined to carve out a lane for himself in the music industry. As an artist, he's done just that - collaborating with the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Twista & Paul Wall, along with more notable names and a handful of rising peers. Dylan has also been fortunate enough to tour all over North America, as both support + a regional headlining act.
If you like 90's-2000's R&B, you'll more than likely find a ton of songs that you enjoy within his catalog (over 200 songs released). Delivering buttery vocals & thoughtful storytelling on top of memorable yet classic sounding production; Dylan will continue to reach new ears in an inevitable new way.
