The Omens are a five piece Garage and Psych combo from Denver Colorado USA that formed in January of 2014 in order to create music that would be an alternative to the bland, canned and trendy digital sounds being pushed through the airwaves and live clubs throughout the land.
Hungry vinyl record junkies chewing up and consuming vast amounts of sounds from ever overflowing record collections. One listen and it becomes apparent that the group is built on influences that run wide and deep in the sounds of the Sixties. That of the Garage and Psychedelic variety to be precise, but dig deeper and it also becomes obvious that this band is steeped in other things as well. Raw Rockabilly, Paisley folk and Backwoods Rhythm & Blues all mixed with the high energy of punk rock.
