Formed in the early 1960s and led by guitarist/singer John Golden, the group recorded local singles such as "Please Say" and the instrumental "Daydream." Archival tapes were later issued by labels (notably Daptone/Wick), culminating in releases like the 2020 single reissue and the 2023 collection The Lost Album; John Golden subsequently became a noted mastering engineer (Golden Mastering).
