About
Formed in 2011 after members met at an open-mic event, the group is led by vocalist Tarriona "Tank" Ball. They won NPR's 2017 Tiny Desk Contest with the song "Quick" and have released multiple albums and EPs. The band has received industry recognition including Grammy nominations (Best New Artist, 2020; Best Progressive R&B Album, 2023) and has toured internationally.
