Summer Bedhead began releasing music in 2021 and issued the single "Black Hole" and the EP Visitor Parking Only in 2023. Their debut album The Body Needs a Break (2025) received local press attention and was named Westword's Best Album for Repeat Listens. The project has been featured on Local 303/102.3 radio and supported several regional shows and festival appearances.
