Formed in 1992 by Boris Benko and Primož Hladnik, Silence has released multiple studio albums and composed scores for theatre, dance, film and television. The duo has written music for more than seventy stage productions, collaborated with Laibach (including the 2006 album Volk), and contributed scores to award-winning films such as Damjan Kozole's A Call Girl and Sonja Prosenc's Family Therapy.
