Mike Abbott is a veteran wind-instrument player with a professional career spanning over fifty years, performing on soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, flute and electronic wind instruments and appearing frequently with regional and touring acts. Offstage he cofounded The Real School of Music, served in management roles for instrument makers (including Verne Q. Powell Flutes), and has credits on 30+ albums and numerous commercial jingles.
