About
Joey Brink is a noted carillonneur and composer who serves as University Carillonist and Assistant Professor of the Practice in Carillon at the University of Denver, after holding the University Carillonneur post at the University of Chicago (2015–2022). He won the International Queen Fabiola Carillon Competition (first prize) and has released albums and premiered new works for carillon, including performances of pieces by Augusta Read Thomas; he also teaches masterclasses and composes new repertoire for the instrument.
