Jason McIntyre led The Rustlanders early in his career and later released the duo album Miles (2014) with longtime collaborator Junior Tutwiler. He has released records under the LEMONT project (Bloomsday, Songs of Our Friends), teaches songwriting and multiple instruments, and works on music-therapy programs for veterans. In 2026 he issued the single "LISTENING FOR A TRAIN" and continues to record and tour.
