Jalan Crossland led the Jalan Crossland Band (formed in the mid-2000s) and released several studio albums and a 2019 career compilation. He received a Governor's Arts Award in 2013 and was named a 'Wyoming Treasure' by the state arts council. The band played its final run in 2017; Crossland has continued to perform and tour as a solo artist.
