Golomb formed in 2019 when Mickey Shuman and Xenia began releasing self-recorded material; Hawken later joined to complete the trio. They issued the Love EP in 2024 and recorded the album The Beat Goes On with engineer Keith Hanlon, mixed by Drew Vandenberg, and are associated with the No Quarter label. The lineup features siblings Xenia (bass) and Hawken (drums) alongside guitarist-songwriter Mickey Shuman, and the band has played festival and touring dates in support of their releases.
