Fainting Dreams began as Elle Reynolds' solo project in early 2022 before expanding into a full band; core contributors include Elle Reynolds (vocals/guitar), Francys Andros (bass) and Josh Bennett (drums). They self-released a Demonstration in 2022 and issued Those Left Untouched By the Light (released January 12, 2024), followed by You Can Be Anything (October 31, 2025) and the EP The Silence of Birds That Rarely Sing (April 6, 2026); the project has been featured on NTS and covered by underground music outlets.
