Doris Svensson (billed mononymously as Doris) released the cult album Did You Give the World Some Love Today Baby in 1970, which was reissued by Mr Bongo in 1996 and brought renewed attention to her work. Tracks from the album have been sampled by producers such as Madlib (as Quasimoto) and one of her songs appears on the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack; she died on 15 January 2023.
