Founded in 1989 as the successor to the Denver Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony is the professional orchestra resident at Boettcher Concert Hall in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The ensemble presents Masterworks, Pops, education and outreach programs and frequently collaborates with contemporary artists at venues across Colorado including Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The orchestra has made recordings (including for Naxos) and has been led by notable conductors across its history.
