Formed in North London around 2000, The Chap (often styled THE CHAP) are an English experimental pop/electronic group who have released records on Lo Recordings and Ghostly International. Their discography includes Ham (2005), Mega Breakfast (2008), We Are Nobody (2012) and later releases; they have toured across Europe and the US and received coverage from outlets such as Pitchfork and The Wire. The band mixes electronic production with live instruments and has been active intermittently since the early 2000s.
