Bolonium was formed in 2012 by filmmakers-musicians Richard Taylor and Tim Johnson after creating a fictional band for an indie film; they developed the project into a real group that records and performs. The band has released multiple albums (including Snacktacular and Leftovers), produced an extensive series of DIY music videos, and received local recognition such as Westword's praise for their music video series.
